MIS Executive

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive MIS Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting our information systems, ensuring the integrity and security of data, and providing technical support to various departments. This role requires a strong understanding of network infrastructure and software development, as well as excellent time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of information systems and ensure their optimal performance.
• Provide technical support for users, addressing issues related to software applications and hardware.
• Collaborate with IT teams to maintain network infrastructure, including WAN connectivity.
• Implement information security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorised access.
• Utilise tools such as Jira for project management and tracking system issues.
• Assist in software development projects by providing insights on system requirements and user needs.
• Conduct regular audits of systems to ensure compliance with organisational policies.
• Prepare documentation and reports using Word and SQL for data analysis and presentation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Linux operating systems and familiar with network infrastructure concepts.
• Experience using Jira for project management is preferred.
• Strong understanding of WAN technologies and their implementation.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of software development processes is advantageous.
• Understanding of information security principles and practices.
• Previous experience in providing technical support is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
