Microsoft Power Platform AI Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Power Platform AI and Teams Chatbot Developer to join our team in Ahmedabad, India, for a full-time, work-from-office position. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy intelligent AI agents and chatbots within the Microsoft ecosystem, with a strong focus on Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Teams chatbot development, Power Automate, and SharePoint. You will leverage your expertise in Python for custom integrations and advanced scripting to enhance automation and AI-driven solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will create scalable, user-focused solutions to streamline business processes and enhance productivity. This role reports to the Director of Digital Transformation and requires prior experience with Microsoft Power Platform and a passion for building innovative AI agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered chatbots for Microsoft Teams using Microsoft Copilot Studio, ensuring seamless integration with Teams, Outlook, and other Microsoft 365 applications for enhanced user engagement.
• Create and optimize automated workflows using Power Automate, including cloud flows, desktop flows, and AI Builder integrations to automate tasks like approvals, notifications, and data processing.
• Develop and customize SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and web parts to support document management, team collaboration, and integration with AI agents for intelligent search and content automation.
• Write Python scripts for advanced customizations, including API integrations, data manipulation (e.g., Pandas, Requests), and extending Power Platform capabilities through Azure Functions or Dataverse connectors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prototype AI agents and Teams chatbots, and iterate based on feedback to align with business objectives and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, accessibility).
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance Power Platform and Teams chatbot solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user adoption.
• Document technical designs, workflows, and deployment processes to support knowledge transfer and maintenance.
• Stay updated on Microsoft ecosystem advancements, particularly Copilot Studio and Teams extensibility, and contribute to proof-of-concept projects exploring emerging AI technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
• 2+ years of experience developing AI agents and chatbots using Microsoft Copilot Studio, with specific expertise in building and deploying chatbots for Microsoft Teams.
• Proven expertise in SharePoint Online development, including site provisioning, custom lists, Power Automate triggers, and integration with Microsoft Graph API.
• 2+ years of Python development experience, with proficiency in scripting for automation, data handling (e.g., NumPy, Pandas), and RESTful API interactions.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, Azure AD, and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to work full-time from our office in Ahmedabad, India.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as PL-400 (Microsoft Power Platform Developer), PL-200 (Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant), or AI-102 (Designing and Implementing a Microsoft Azure AI Solution).
• Experience with Azure AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services) or integrating third-party APIs into Power Platform or Teams solutions.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of AI ethics, prompt engineering, or natural language processing (NLP) concepts.
