Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

  1. Order Management:

    Handle the complete order process — from receiving customer orders to ensuring timely production and dispatch.
  2. Production Planning:

    Collaborate with production teams to plan schedules, considering raw material availability, production capacity, and timelines.
  3. Costing & Pricing:

    Prepare accurate costing (materials, CMT, etc.) and propose competitive pricing strategies to maintain healthy margins.
  4. Quality Control:

    Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  5. Timely Delivery:

    Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all orders are delivered as per committed timelines.
  6. Customer Communication:

    Serve as the main point of contact for buyers, managing updates, approvals, and customer service.
  7. Inventory Management:

    Monitor and manage surplus socks and raw materials for optimal usage in future orders.
  8. Market Research:

    Stay updated with industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
  9. Sales & Revenue:

    Support business growth by analyzing sales data, identifying improvement areas, and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  10. Team Collaboration:

    Work closely with design, production, and marketing teams to ensure smooth operations and successful product launches.

  • Profit Margin & Cost Variance

  • Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) & Complaint Rate

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP/SAP is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
