Job Roles & Responsibilities
1. Design & Planning
- Prepare, review, and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) system designs in line with project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and consultants to integrate MEP services into building and landscape projects.
- Develop load calculations, equipment sizing, layouts, and detailed drawings.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
2. Project Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants for MEP installations.
- Supervise site execution of MEP works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of MEP-related works.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
3. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to local authority regulations, building codes, and sustainability standards.
- Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Implement energy-efficient and sustainable solutions in MEP systems.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and cost estimates for MEP works.
- Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
- Coordinate design revisions and issue updated drawings where required.
5. Problem-Solving & Support
- Troubleshoot technical issues during design and execution stages.
- Provide technical support to site teams and advise on corrective measures.
- Ensure smooth integration of MEP services with architectural and structural elements.
Qualification Criteria
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Master’s Degree in Building Services / MEP Engineering (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience:
- 3–6 years of experience in MEP design and site execution for building/landscape projects.
- Familiarity with HVAC, electrical distribution, water supply, drainage, and fire-fighting systems.
- Experience in working with architectural/landscape projects is an added advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), Dialux, and other design tools.
- Strong knowledge of MEP codes, standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, NBC, IS codes, etc.).
- Ability to review shop drawings, conduct calculations, and prepare technical reports.
- Other Skills:
- Strong coordination and communication skills for working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹163,496.72 - ₹795,985.38 per year
