MEP Engineer

As a Site Engineer specializing in Electrical/Electronics, your role will involve overseeing and managing all aspects of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance at project sites. You will collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure the successful implementation and operation of electrical systems according to project specifications and timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the design and planning of electrical systems for project sites. - Review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities) related to electrical systems. - Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment. - Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations. - Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. - Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during installation and commissioning. - Conduct quality inspections and tests on electrical installations and equipment. - Identify and resolve any defects or deficiencies in electrical systems. - Implement and enforce safety measures and standards at project sites. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations by all personnel involved in electrical work. - Prepare daily progress reports, inspection reports, and other documentation as required. - Maintain accurate records of electrical materials, equipment, and installations. - Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding electrical system requirements and progress. - Address client queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. - Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians. - Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in electrical engineering. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in electrical installations and maintenance. - Knowledge of electrical design software and tools. - Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
