Medical & Evidence Manager

In this role at ZS, as an Evidence Synthesis Lead within the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) team, you will play a crucial part in elevating HEOR into a strategic function that bridges the scientific, clinical, and commercial spheres. Your main responsibility will be leading evidence synthesis standalone projects and workstreams on broader engagements, ensuring overall quality, timelines, and financial performance. You will also be involved in developing recommendations, reviewing deliverables, and leading client business development efforts. Additionally, you will play a key role in team development, mentoring, and contributing to long-term strategic planning. **Responsibilities:** - Lead evidence synthesis standalone projects and workstreams, ensuring quality, timelines, and financial performance - Develop recommendations and communicate risks and opportunities - Review and sign off on deliverables including protocols, analysis plans, and reports - Work closely with ZS client teams for business development and client relationship management - Own client relationships and be a subject matter expert - Lead team development, mentoring, and provide career development pathways - Contribute to staffing discussions and strategic planning - Establish processes for effective team operation - Support staff communication, conflict resolution, and morale - Provide input on proposals and presentation content - Establish trusted partnerships with clients and drive new business opportunities - Identify growth opportunities and recommendations for hiring - Counsel and mentor junior team members - Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge - May require domestic and/or international travel, including overnight stays **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline - MSc in relevant discipline preferred - Minimum 10 years of directly relevant experience in a similar industry/consulting environment - Expert understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and health technology assessment - Experience in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) with emphasis on Evidence Synthesis - Good understanding of relevant methodologies and statistics - Ability to lead and manage teams - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills At ZS, you will have access to a comprehensive total rewards package, including health and well-being, financial planning, annual leave, personal growth, and professional development.
