We are seeking a highly dedicated, knowledgeable, and proactive
Floor / Site Engineer
to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about mechanical engineering, has hands-on experience in fabrication environments, and possesses strong technical understanding of structural drawings and production processes. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily floor activities, supporting fabrication tasks, and maintaining quality standards across all site operations.As a Floor / Site Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing detailed
structural and fabrication drawings
, interpreting design requirements, and ensuring their accurate implementation on the shop floor. You will work closely with the production team, supervisors, fitters, welders, and machine operators to monitor progress, resolve technical queries, and maintain workflow efficiency. A strong command of
AutoCAD
is essential, as you will frequently engage in preparing, modifying, and validating technical drawings required for fabrication and assembly.The role demands strong coordination skills as you will bridge communication between the design department and the shop floor team. You will also be responsible for ensuring that materials are utilized effectively, work is executed as per specifications, and production timelines are strictly followed. Identifying potential challenges, suggesting solutions, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards will be a core part of your daily responsibilities.In addition to technical responsibilities, the Floor / Site Engineer must maintain site documentation, including daily progress reports, material tracking, quality checklists, and fabrication records. You will also be required to support project planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work under pressure, remain detail-oriented, and demonstrate a problem-solving mindset while handling multiple tasks across the site.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in fabrication, engineering, or structural execution roles
- Skills: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, good knowledge of fabrication methods, understanding of structural drawings, and strong communication & coordination abilities
- Job Type: Full-time, On-site (Jaipur – Bagru preferred)
