Job Title: Data Entry Operator (Tally Prime) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location: In-person About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and efficient Data Entry Operator with strong hands-on experience in Tally Prime to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, updating, and maintaining accurate financial records and transaction data in Tally Prime. This position plays a vital role in supporting the finance and accounts department by ensuring that all financial entries are correctly recorded, reconciled, and reported. We are looking for a candidate who is reliable, proactive, and capable of handling sensitive financial information with utmost accuracy and confidentiality. Immediate joiners will be given preference. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter and update day-to-day financial data in Tally Prime, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries. Maintain and reconcile daily financial transactions to ensure consistency and accuracy of accounting data. Generate and manage invoices, bills, vouchers, and credit/debit notes as per company requirements. Perform data verification and correction to ensure error-free records and documentation. Support the finance and accounting team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Generate customized financial reports from Tally Prime for management review and analysis. Ensure that all financial information is entered accurately and maintained with the highest standards of confidentiality and data integrity. Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and respond to auditor queries when required. Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve data accuracy across systems. Requirements Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or in a similar accounting/data entry role. Proficiency in Tally Prime is mandatory. Candidates without practical experience in Tally Prime will not be considered. Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial documentation. Excellent typing speed and proficiency in handling large volumes of data. Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and other office applications. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English (Preferred). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. Certification or formal training in Tally Prime will be an added advantage.
