Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and supervise mechanical maintenance of heavy equipment (HEMM), fixed plant machinery, and utilities.
• Monitor the performance of equipment and lead root cause analysis for breakdowns and recurring issues.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with operations, stores, purchase, and other departments for timely execution of maintenance activities.
• Review maintenance logs, reports, and KPIs to track performance and identify improvement areas.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials, and tools.
• Support in budget planning, cost control, and vendor management for mechanical maintenance.
• Supervise and guide a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards during all maintenance work.
• Assist in capital projects, plant upgrades, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Liaise with OEMs and external service providers for specialized repairs and technical support.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

Experience:

Experience in handling HEMM, crushers, conveyors, pumps, and hydraulics is highly desirable.

Key Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
• Leadership and team management.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Familiarity with maintenance software (e.g.,  ERP,SAP, CMMS) is an advantage.
• Safety-conscious with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
