Role Description


We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support our engineering and fabrication projects from concept to commissioning. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating with design, production, QA/QC, and site teams to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review fabrication-ready drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
  • Support design and detailing for pressure vessels, tanks, structural fabrications, piping skids, and industrial equipment.
  • Coordinate with production and QC teams to ensure compliance with drawings, WPS, inspection plans, and applicable codes/standards.
  • Assist in project planning, execution schedules, and material tracking.
  • Participate in inspections, dimensional checks, and troubleshooting during fabrication and site erection.
  • Support cost estimation, technical clarifications, and client communication when required.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality practices at workshop and site.



Qualifications


Required

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4-5 years of experience in heavy fabrication/industrial equipment/manufacturing (freshers with strong fundamentals may apply).
  • Understanding of fabrication processes, welding basics, materials, and inspection practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Working knowledge of 2D CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar).
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Preferred

  • Exposure to pressure vessel/tank/piping/structural projects.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME, TEMA, IS, etc.).
  • Experience working with QA/QC documentation, ITPs, WPS/PQR, and NDT basics.
