Job Description

The Draughtsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by customer, Production dept or. The role involves creating accurate 2D and 3D drawings, ensuring compliance with project standards, and coordinating with other departments to support the design and process. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed Technical drawings, Manufacturing drawings ,GA drawings and P&ID, using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit). Interpret design sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers or architects. Ensure drawings comply with company, industry, and safety standards. Revise drawings based on feedback and design modifications. Maintain and organize drawing records, project documentation, and revision histories. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and site teams to resolve drawing or design-related issues. . Keep up to date with CAD technologies, drafting standards, and industry practices. Qualifications and Skills: Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Chemical and Process Piping Proven experience (1–5 years) as a Draughtsman in a relevant industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar drafting software. Strong technical drawing and visualization skills. Good understanding of engineering principles and processes engineering . Attention to detail and accuracy in all drawings. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred: Experience with 3D modeling and BIM tools Familiarity with local and international design codes/standards. Knowledge of MS Office and document management systems.
