eMICROLABS is a forward-thinking Medical Device R&D company specializing in the design, development, and technology transfer of innovative healthcare technologies. We work closely with industry partners to ensure safe, effective, and compliant medical devices reach the market.

 

Role Summary

We are looking for fresher candidates with a Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) who are interested in starting their career in Material Management and Inventory Control within the medical device industry.

This is a 6-month internship (considered a probationary period) with the possibility of transitioning into a Hardware / Production Support role based on performance. The position is on-site in Chennai, and candidates must agree to a 1.5-year service commitment upon confirmation.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and monitor stock of electronic components, raw materials, and consumables
  • Handle inward and outward material entries, including verification and documentation
  • Update inventory records in Excel / internal tracking sheets
  • Coordinate with purchase, hardware, and production teams for material requirements
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and traceability of components
  • Assist in component kitting for production and testing activities
  • Track minimum stock levels and support reordering processes
  • Maintain material issue and return logs
  • Support basic quality and ESD handling practices for electronic components
  • Learn documentation practices related to medical device manufacturing and compliance

 

Required Qualifications

Education: Diploma in EEE / ECE (completed)

Pass-out Year: 2024 or 2025

 

Skills & Attributes
  • Basic knowledge of electronic components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, etc.)
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Willingness to learn inventory and material control processes
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel preferred)
  • Attention to detail and responsibility in handling materials
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and sign a 1.5-year agreement

 

Employment Terms
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Phase 1: 6-month internship (probationary period)
  • Post Internship: Full-time confirmation based on performance
  • Location: On-site – Chennai, Tamil Nadu
  • Agreement: 1.5-year employment bond required upon joining
  • Compensation: Stipend during internship; competitive salary post-confirmation
