We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead Varaha’s marketing, communications, and brand-building efforts across multiple channels. This role will be instrumental in amplifying our mission, showcasing our impact, and positioning Varaha as a global leader in the climate-tech space. You will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact marketing strategies, managing internal and external communications, and driving brand visibility across audiences — from farmers to global investors.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Brand Marketing Strategy
Develop and execute Varaha’s integrated marketing strategy aligned with business and impact goals.
Build a consistent brand voice across all platforms, channels, and communications.
Manage and evolve Varaha’s visual and messaging identity in line with our mission and stakeholders.
Content Collateral Development
Create high-quality marketing materials including decks, reports, concept notes, and fundraising collateral.
Work with internal teams to craft narratives for product offerings, project impact, and scientific innovation.
Lead ghostwriting initiatives for the leadership team to position them as thought leaders.
Digital Marketing Social Media
Lead digital campaigns across LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms with clear KPIs for reach and engagement.
Drive content planning, creation, and scheduling in collaboration with internal stakeholders and creative vendors.
Leverage analytics tools to optimize content performance and audience engagement.
Website Email Communication
Oversee all content and copy on the website, ensuring timely updates and SEO best practices.
Manage regular newsletters for investors, donors, and the carbon buyer community.
Public Relations Media Outreach
Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and global media outlets and journalist networks to enhance Varaha’s brand positioning.
Secure features, interviews, and stories in top-tier domestic publications (e.g., The Economic Times, Mint, Business Standard, The Hindu BusinessLine) and global publications (e.g., Forbes, Bloomberg, Reuters, Financial Times).
Strategically announce key milestones — including partnerships, funding rounds, impact metrics, and scientific breakthroughs — to ensure wide coverage and credibility across geographies.
Events Conferences
Develop and execute a conference strategy to secure speaking slots for founders and key leaders.
Manage event participation, including booth setup, presentations, and follow-ups.
Plan and execute webinars, partner events, and community activations.
Team Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including operations, science, tech, and leadership to source stories and data.
Manage creative vendors, freelancers, and agencies to deliver high-quality outputs.
Collaborate with external partners, influencers, and ecosystem stakeholders to co-create content and campaigns.
10–12 years of experience in marketing, PR, or communications, ideally with a background in startups, sustainability, or social impact.
Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills, with an ability to translate complex ideas into compelling content.
Experience in managing global media relations and high-performing marketing campaigns.
Demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams, creative vendors, and external partnerships.
Familiarity with event planning and B2B conference strategies.
Strong understanding of digital platforms and analytics tools.
Comfort with generative AI tools and content automation tools is a plus.
