Marketing Manager

Job Description

We are hiring Marketing Manager to generate quality student databases and walk-ins through school/college outreach, branch visits, and local marketing activities. This role involves direct interaction with students, institutional visits, and database collection from multiple sources. Key Responsibilities: Database Collection Activities Collect student and parent data by conducting GK exams, surveys, or distributing free course forms in schools and colleges. Approach hostels, tuition centers, and public areas to collect walk-in leads. Maintain quality and category-wise database records (new/old, cold/warm leads). School & College Visits Visit educational institutions to get permission for seminars, exams, and outreach programs. Build positive rapport with teachers and students during visits. Distribute certificates, course pamphlets, and invite students for branch-based counseling. Branch Visit & Support Visit assigned branches to support local walk-in generation and field promotion activities. Invite students/parents to the branch and explain benefits of joining courses in-person. Coordinate with counselors and telecalling team to ensure follow-up. Student Interaction & Follow-Up Meet students directly during field activities or events and explain course offerings. Motivate students to attend counseling sessions and avail scholarships or discounts. Follow up through WhatsApp, SMS, or calls (if assigned). Reporting & Activity Log Maintain a clear daily report of institutions visited, students met, and database collected. Submit activity reports and follow-up status to the manager or coordinator. Required Skills & Qualifications: Any graduate with good communication skills More than 2 years of experience in marketing, field sales, or outreach (education preferred) Should be willing to travel locally and work on the field regularly Ability to speak fluently in Tamil (basic English preferred) Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets is an advantage Preferred Qualities: Energetic and self-motivated Confident in speaking to students, parents, and teachers Target-driven and result-focused Willingness to work in outdoor and branch environments
