An electrical engineering marketing professional with knowledge of XLPE cables (MV, HP) and air-insulated busbars focuses on promoting products for power transmission and distribution. Your primary role is to bridge the gap between technical teams and customers by translating complex product specifications into compelling value propositions.

Key responsibilities

• Market analysis

  : Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes for XLPE cables and busbars. This includes market sizing and segmentation for different applications, such as power generation, industrial plants, and commercial buildings.

• Product promotion

  : Develop marketing campaigns, content (e.g., case studies, white papers), and sales materials that highlight the technical benefits of XLPE over alternatives like PVC, as well as the advantages of busbars over traditional cabling in specific scenarios.

• Customer engagement

  : Work with the sales team to present product features and value to potential clients. Answer complex technical questions and demonstrate how XLPE cables and air-insulated busbars provide better performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness for their specific projects.

• Technical support

  : Act as a technical expert for the marketing and sales teams. This involves providing detailed product specifications, explaining standards compliance (e.g., IS, IEC, BS), and ensuring marketing claims are technically accurate.

• Strategy development

  : Contribute to the overall business strategy by providing market feedback to product development and engineering teams. Your input can guide future product enhancements and innovations.

• Deep product knowledge

  : Understand the properties and benefits of XLPE insulation, such as higher temperature ratings, excellent electrical properties, and long-term durability, especially when compared to traditional PVC cables.

• Application-specific understanding

  : Advise customers on the right XLPE cable based on their project requirements, including voltage rating (3.3kV36kV and above), conductor material, and armor type.

• High-pressure and high-voltage knowledge

  : Differentiate between the manufacturing and performance requirements for MV and EHV XLPE cables, including their use in industrial, utility, underground, and marine environments.

• Standards and specifications

  : Ensure all marketing claims align with relevant industry standards like IS: 7098/Part-II and IEC 60502 to maintain credibility.

Marketing and strategy skills

• Strategic planning

  : Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to promote your company's XLPE cable solutions to target industries such as power generation, industrial units, and renewable energy sectors.

• Technical content creation

  : Produce technical articles, sales presentations, and promotional materials that clearly explain the benefits and specifications of XLPE cables to a technical audience.

• Market research and analysis

  : Conduct competitive analysis to understand market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands in the XLPE cable sector.

• Relationship management

  : Build and maintain relationships with key clients and new business prospects, providing technical assistance and solving customer problems.
