Position Summary

Cogneesol is seeking a Marketing Manager to serve as the Brand Custodian owning, shaping, and safeguarding the companys identity, reputation, and market positioning. This role is less about hands-on campaign execution and more about strategic leadership, orchestration, and internal-external alignment. The position will ensure consistency, clarity, and impact across all touchpoints, while managing outsourced partners and securing management buy-in for key initiatives. This role will serve as the strategic interface between business, delivery, and corporate functions ensuring marketing acts as an enabler of growth and organizational identity.

In this role, individual will be deeply involved in planning and executing strategic marketing initiatives, while working closely with inter-departmental teams. The individual will be an integral part of enhancing market presence and awareness for our diverse offerings. This role further entails driving Thought Leadership through contributions in blogs, newsletters and research studies. As an enabler for carrying out the role effectively, the individual can expect a collaborative and innovative work culture, conducive for individual and team excellence.

Experience

12-14 Years of IT/ITeS/KPO organization experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or brand-focused role. Strong preference for track record of organic growth in the career, with experience in progressively challenging marketing & communications positions.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Leadership & Custodianship

  • Define, articulate, and safeguard the companys brand identity, positioning, and voice.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels, internal and external communications, and partner-led initiatives.
  • Act as the primary guardian of Cogneesols reputation with clients, prospects, employees, and the market.

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and maintain a strategic marketing roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Translate business priorities into marketing narratives, campaigns, and thought-leadership themes.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities to guide marketing strategy.

External Collaborators & Partner Orchestration

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for coordinating with multiple outsourced partners (creative agencies, PR, digital, content, events, design).
  • Draft and manage agency/collaborator briefs, set expectations, and align deliverables with Cogneesols objectives.
  • Streamline coordination to achieve efficiency, consistency, and speed to market.
  • Establish performance metrics for each partner and ensure outputs meet agreed quality and brand standards.
  • Build long-term relationships with select partners to improve speed, efficiency, and trust.

Internal Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with Management and Business Leaders to align marketing priorities with growth objectives.
  • Secure buy-in on campaigns, budgets, and brand investments.
  • Act as the voice of marketing in leadership discussions, while ensuring feedback loops into execution.

Measurement & Reporting

  • Define and track KPIs across awareness, engagement, lead generation, and employer branding.
  • Present regular updates to management on marketing performance and ROI.
  • Recommend course corrections and strategic pivots when necessary.

Functional Skills/Experience/Exposure

Collaboration & Alignment

  • Work closely with services and CoE/Operations teams to strategize on services and solutions positioning, market validation, messaging, and roadmap development to ensure strong industry endorsement and new business development.
  • Review the governance standards and operational protocols for the sign-off on all corporate communications emanating from the institution, to ensure that quality assurance is maintained, and brand guidelines are adhered to.
  • Ability to work together with sales team.

Multi-Channel Marketing Campaigns

  • Plan and execute multichannel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, webinars, and events.
  • Experience in support event operations including booth design, event collaterals, emailers, social media coverage etc.
  • Develop a calendar for external speaking engagements for key personnel and assist in the preparation of speeches for senior executives.

Client/Prospect Sales Collaboration

  • Create customer presentations and contribute in building key proposals
  • Maintain and update product and services pricing portfolio, processes, and procedures for bid management
  • Being a member of the core team that is responsible for delivering successful in-person client/prospect visit(s)

Content Development

  • Manage the end to end development of creative campaigns for both demand generation and brand building initiatives
  • Creating content and managing positioning in website, creating sales kits including case studies, whitepapers, presentations etc.
  • Experience in supporting webinars with preferred past exposure to go to webinar
  • Exposure of writing articles in leading publications, which have enhanced company visibility and branding
  • Establish thought leadership to ensure its vision of an industry leader, services, solutions, and new launches

  • Strong grounding in brand management, communications, and partner management.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing pragmatically through others
  • Spoken and written business English to a high level
  • Good understanding of IT services and BPS industry

Interpersonal/Team Skills

  • High on collaboration, influence, and articulation.
  • Trusted advisor to management, not just a campaign executor.
  • Great relationship management and stakeholder management skills, a good collaborator and team-worker
  • Ability to operate in matrix environment and a culture of sharing and exploiting best practice in a shared services environment

Project Management

  • Prior experience working with outsourced marketing vendors/agencies is essential
  • Excellent influencing skills with the ability to build buy-in and resilience to deal with set-backs
  • Well-developed prioritization skills with the ability to juggle a large portfolio of projects with competing demands for time


Qualifications & Experience

  • Post-Graduate: Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Graduate: Bachelors in Engineering/Technology (Preference) or Science/Commerce (Honors)
