About Upthrust


We're a B2B SaaS marketing agency that actually gets results. No fluff, no "synergy" BS - just data-driven strategies, conversion optimization, and marketing that works.


We help SaaS companies scale without burning cash on tactics that don't convert. PPC, Paid Social, growth hacking - whatever drives the pipeline, we do it.


We need a copywriter who can handle the chaos of agency life. You'll be juggling 5-7 clients at once (yes, really), writing everything from LinkedIn posts that don't sound like ChatGPT/Claude to landing pages that actually convert.


What You'll Actually Be Doing

Look, we're not gonna sugarcoat it:


• Writing LinkedIn content for founders who think they're thought leaders (some actually are)

• Creating Google/LinkedIn ad copy that makes people click (0.5% CTR has us celebrating 🎉)

• Landing pages that convert - not just look pretty

• Email sequences that don't immediately hit spam

• Blog posts that humans AND Google actually like

• Case studies that don't read like corporate propaganda


You'll bounce between clients faster than attribution claims in a LinkedIn ads report.


One minute you're writing for a CRM company, next it's AI tooling, then suddenly you're deep in deeptech land.


The Non-Negotiables:

• 1-2 years B2B copywriting (if you've survived SaaS copywriting, even better)

• Can switch from writing a 5-word headline to a 2000-word article without breaking a sweat

• You get that B2B buyers are people too - they don't want to read jargon soup

• Multiple deadlines don't make you panic

• You can figure out what the hell a client does even when their website says "we leverage synergistic solutions for digital transformation"

• Notion, Slack, and Figma don't scare you


Bonus Points If:

• Your portfolio doesn't all sound the same

• You've ghostwritten for executives and made them sound human

• You understand SEO beyond "just add keywords"

• You can explain complex sheet simply

• You've hit content quotas that made you question your life choices, but delivered anyway
