Job Description

Role Overview: As a Marketing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to complete the marketing plan for the property. You will be in charge of managing all e-commerce opportunities and developing strong relationships with tourism bureaus and community leaders. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the region-wide coordination of rooms, food and beverage, spa, and golf promotions. - Develop a leisure marketing plan focusing on rate offers, packages, and programs to increase occupancy. - Maintain, update, and manage all websites related to the property. - Coordinate offers and information for all publications and inserts, especially regarding brand loyalty reward mailings. - Develop brochures and property collateral materials. - Participate in property imaging work, such as signage. - Use and interpret various reporting tools for marketing recommendations. - Review and analyze website and email campaign tracking. - Manage the marketing budget and provide regular tracking and analysis of promotions. - Evaluate new marketing opportunities and ensure the property is represented on quality internet sites. - Work closely with Convention Bureaus and Chambers of Tourism. - Develop a strategic marketing plan for the property, including group, leisure, and local efforts. - Identify and communicate with distribution channels to drive property occupancy. - Provide sales channels with creative tools for sales and marketing. - Act as a liaison between corporate and individual properties. - Plan and supervise photo shoots keeping the brand image in mind. - Keep detailed records of all marketing materials and ensure compliance with corporate marketing guidelines. - Approve all invoicing through the MarrCom office. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related field; OR - 2-year degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major from an accredited university (no work experience required) Company Details: Marriott International is committed to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming and valuing the unique backgrounds of all associates.
