Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for assisting with soliciting and managing reservations sales-related opportunities, managing and providing training to Reservations Sales staff, and actively up-selling each business opportunity to maximize revenue. Your role involves achieving personal and team revenue goals, driving customer loyalty, and delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. Key Responsibilities: - Identify new reservations sales business to achieve personal and property revenue goals. - Understand the overall market, competitors" strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand to effectively sell against them. - Close the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions and property needs. - Monitor same-day selling procedures to maximize room revenue and control property occupancy. - Respond to incoming reservations sales opportunities, using negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts. - Assist with monitoring accuracy of reservation sales orders within tracking systems and track no-show reservations. - Manage waitlist and prioritize order of waitlist contacts to be made. - Support the company's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty and satisfaction by delivering service excellence. - Execute and support the company's customer service standards and property's brand standards. - Provide excellent customer service consistent with the daily service basics of the brand. - Handle guest complaints and disputes following the instant pacification procedures. - Utilize intranet for resources and information, and create contracts as required. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area; OR - 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 1 year of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
