About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Automation Manager to lead our global

marketing automation initiatives across multiple channels. This role demands a hands-on

expert with deep knowledge of platforms like Mailchimp, WebEngage, SendGrid, and

WhatsApp marketing tools, along with proficiency in HTML and a strong grasp of AI-

powered tools. Experience working in global markets and a background in the Study Abroad

or Education sector will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute multi-channel automated campaigns across Email, WhatsApp, SMS, Push notifications, and In-app messages.
• Build and maintain responsive, visually appealing HTML-based email templates.
• Manage automation platforms including Mailchimp, WebEngage, and SendGrid, ensuring optimal performance and deliverability.
• Execute targeted WhatsApp marketing campaigns, track response metrics, and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Create audience segments and implement personalization strategies using behavioral, geographic, and lifecycle data.
• Monitor campaign KPIs, deliver regular performance reports, and implement A/B tests for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with content, design, and regional marketing teams to align campaigns with brand and regional goals.
• Explore and implement AI-powered tools for predictive analytics, and campaign optimization.
• Ensure global compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).
• Work closely with product and tech teams for API integrations and CRM syncs.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong command of HTML/CSS for email design and customization.
• Hands-on experience with Mailchimp, WebEngage, SendGrid, and WhatsApp marketing tools.
• Proven track record of managing automation for global campaigns across diverse regions.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai, or other marketing AI platforms.
• Excellent understanding of user segmentation, journey mapping, drip campaigns, and funnel optimization.
• Analytical mindset with strong experience in data interpretation and performance tracking.
• Familiarity with integration tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Background:

• Experience in the Study Abroad / EdTech / Education sector will be a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
• Global work experience or exposure to international markets.
• Marketing automation certifications (Mailchimp, WebEngage, etc.) are a plus
