We are hiring Ground Surveyor for a Government Broadband Project- BharatNet project based in Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Hapur. Job Title: Ground surveyor Qualification: Any Graduate Location : Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Hapur Department : Network Deployment / RF Planning / Field Operations Reports to : Survey Team Lead / Project Manager Job Summary : The Ground Surveyor will be responsible for conducting site surveys for telecom infrastructure projects. This includes identifying and assessing potential locations for telecom towers, small cell sites, fiber routes, and other network components. The surveyor will ensure accurate data collection, mapping, and reporting to support network design and deployment teams. Key Responsibilities : Conduct ground-level surveys for potential telecom sites (rooftop, ground-based, indoor). Perform Line of Sight (LOS) and RF surveys using GPS, total stations, laser rangefinders, or drones (if applicable). Capture and document physical, geographical, and environmental data relevant to network deployment. Coordinate with site acquisition, RF planning, and civil teams to validate site suitability. Use GIS tools and mapping software to create detailed site survey reports. Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety guidelines, and telecom standards during site visits. Provide as-built documentation and assist with layout plans for fiber and tower placements. Maintain accurate records of survey data, including photos, measurements, and site access notes. Work closely with vendors, contractors, and local authorities when required. Qualifications : Diploma/Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
