A Market Intelligence & Operations Specialist is responsible for studying market conditions to examine potential sales of a product or service. He / She gathers data about customers, markets and competitors, analyse this information, and present his/her findings to management to help the company to understand what products or services domain specific industries want, who will buy them, and at what price. Job Description: Market Intelligence & Operations Specialist Responsibilities Account Based Research : Indepth and Focussed Account Research and creation of account maps with net goal of new revenue generation. To focus on accounts in the US Broadband Segment Account Penetration Plans: After Identifying key accounts, generation of field based account penetration plans addressing pain points within the accounts to the Sales team Account Maps: Generation of customer account maps and maintaining the same through field data, primary research and secondary research. Partner Identification: Identify relevant partners in select geographies to be signed up as resellers or channel partners Persona identification: in Key Accounts for decision making – Help Sales team identifying specific personnel in key accounts for decision making. Competitive Battle Cards: Prepare competitive account based battle cards to help Sales team Primary and Secondary Research: Do Primary and Secondary research to provide key insights to develop new revenue Support Business Development Activities: Outside of research support B.D activities by providing relevant and additional market / account / competitive intelligence Key Executive Analysis: Research and Analyse key decision makers in key identified accounts. Data Collection : Gather data through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other methods to understand consumer preferences and market trends to provide valuable insights Data Analysis : Analyse data using statistical software and tools to identify patterns, trends, and insights. Analyse and interpret data to inform product development and marketing strategies Report Preparation : Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize research findings and provide actionable recommendations and effectively communicate research findings to stakeholders. Ideate and execute the generation of weekly newsletters for the US broadband segment Market Trends Monitoring : Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to make strategic decisions. Monitor competitor activity and industry developments to provide strategic recommendations. Collaboration : Work with marketing, sales, and product development teams to align research findings with business strategies. Consumer Behaviour Study : Study consumer behaviour and preferences to help develop marketing strategies and product offerings. Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the IT and services sector pertaining to the domains addressed by Pixel. Product Market Fit: Work closely with the Product Manager to align and execute “Product Market Fit “ for product releases. Utilize data analytics to monitor performance and provide actionable insights. Collaborate with leadership to align business market intelligence initiatives with organizational goals. Work closely with the various Sales, Marketing and Partnership managers to collaborate on global domain, partnership and account intelligence. Keep a track of action items post specific market intelligence findings with specific teams. Deliver pointed and specific research and market intelligence within specific timelines. Analyse, report and utilise market intelligence tools and use AI effectively to generate very specific information. Use information gathered to advise Sales / Partnership teams on next discovery steps. Key Skills & Qualifications: Educational Background : A Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in marketing, or a related field; a master’s degree may be preferred. Work Experience : 2 - 6 years of experience in solid Market research, Proficiency in knowing and managing market research tools and processes will be an added advantage Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data. Secondary Research : Extensive knowledge in secondary research methodologies and application of the same to related business activities Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly. Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data collection and analysis. Proven experience in market research and market data analysis, preferably in the IT sector.
