Job Description

Responsibilities:

Understand business requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Identify, log, and track defects in tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Perform exploratory and ad-hoc testing to uncover potential issues.
Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and business analysts to resolve defects.
Prepare and maintain test documentation (test cases, test reports, defect logs).
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with QA processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–5 years of experience in manual testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience in writing test cases and executing test scenarios.
Familiarity with defect management and test management tools (JIRA, QC, Bugzilla, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
