Position: QA Engineer (Manual)

Location: Ahmedabad / Hyderabad

Number of Positions: 2

Experience Required: 5+ years

Notice Period: Immediate Joiner

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing of Web, Mobile applications, and APIs, along with exposure to test automation. The candidate should be comfortable working independently in an Agile environment, possess excellent communication skills, and take full ownership of quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing for Web, Mobile, and API applications
Design, execute, and maintain automation test scripts (UI/API)
Participate in Agile ceremonies and project discussions
Analyse requirements and create test cases, test data, and test plans
Identify, log, track, and triage defects using bug tracking tools
Provide daily/weekly status updates on testing progress
Take end-to-end ownership of assigned QA tasks
Support releases beyond business hours when required
Follow organizational processes and quality standards

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in Software Testing
Strong experience in Web & Mobile testing
Experience in API testing
Exposure to UI/API automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, etc.)
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA or similar)

Nice to Have:

Retail domain testing experience
Knowledge of SQL
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
