Manual QA Engineer

As a Manual QA Engineer at Avinyaa EdTech, your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth user experience on our web and mobile platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Writing, maintaining, and executing detailed manual test cases for various product modules - Performing regression, functional, UI/UX, smoke, and cross-browser testing - Identifying bugs and inconsistencies and reporting them clearly with proper documentation - Collaborating closely with developers, designers, and product teams to validate features - Validating APIs and databases with basic tools and SQL queries - Supporting automation efforts by learning or contributing to simple automation scripts/tools - Continuously improving test coverage, processes, and documentation Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 2.54 years of experience in manual testing of web/mobile applications - Exposure to automation concepts/tools like Selenium, Postman, or basic scripting is preferred - Solid understanding of QA methodologies and defect lifecycle - Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and sprint workflows - A sharp eye for detail and strong analytical mindset - Clear communication and documentation skills Additionally, having a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory. If you have started learning automation or contributed to basic scripts, exposure to CI/CD pipelines or QA in SaaS/EdTech platforms, and are comfortable working with Git, SQL, or REST APIs, those would be considered as a bonus.
