Why this role exists

Drive employer partnerships and convert them into interviews, offers, and joiners. You own the end-to-end placements engine—pipeline → drives → offers → joins—working closely with training, operations, and student success.

What you’ll do (Responsibilities)

• Build and grow a portfolio of employer accounts in Hyderabad (and nearby markets), focusing on tech, product, services, and startup ecosystems.
• Source & close campus drives, pooled drives, hackathons, internship programs, and lateral fresher intakes.
• Own the pipeline: target lists, outreach, first meetings, capability pitches, JD intake, scheduling, selection coordination, offer negotiation, and post-offer follow-up for joiner conversion.
• Activate your network to secure quick-win drives within the first 30–45 days.
• Maintain accurate CRM hygiene (accounts, contacts, stages, notes, next actions).
• Forecast weekly: drives scheduled, interviews planned, offers expected, joiners projected.
• Partner with training/academics to align candidate supply with employer JDs (skills, batch readiness, certifications).
• Represent Datavalley at job fairs, industry bodies, and partner events; drive MoUs with colleges/companies where relevant.

What success looks like (KPIs)

• New employer logos opened per month, and active accounts maintained
• Drives scheduled and interview volume delivered
• Offers released and offer-to-join conversion
• Repeat hiring from existing accounts & NPS from recruiters/hiring managers
• CRM accuracy and cycle time from JD → drive → offer

What you’ll need (Qualifications)

• For Manager: 2–6 years in placements / corporate relations / talent partnerships, preferably in EdTech, skilling, staffing, or university relations.
• For Senior Manager: 6–12+ years with demonstrable track record of closing high-volume fresher drives and repeat employer business.
• Strong Hyderabad network: Bengaluru connects are a plus.
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• MBA preferred but not mandatory, outcomes and network matter more.
• Comfortable with CRM tools, WhatsApp/Email cadence, and weekly reporting.
• Languages: English essential; Telugu/Hindi a strong plus.
