- Preparation of portions of the Company income tax provision, follow checklists and utilize software tools to document processes. This may include, e.g., US computing state rates and apportionment methodologies for state & local tax provisions; statutory to GAAP adjustments for international tax provision; and preparing analytics and flux schedules for US Federal provision documentation for our auditors.
- Work with companies’ income tax compliance team in the US HQ tax group to support preparation of supporting schedules, as well as to help prepare documentation maintained in a central repository, and to support overall risk management and workflow management. Support in the drive for data automation strategies, resulting to reduced time spent on repetitive activities and help maintain a resilient tax organization and tax control framework.
- Prepare and document financial information for the Bridgewater-HQ Tax team on tax matters in transfer pricing, customs, foreign tax credit planning and other highly specialized areas.
- Participate in development and manage step plans relating to various special projects and international tax transactions.
- Special projects including providing transactional support to quantify U.S. and non-U.S. tax implications on various international transactions including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and liquidations of business units.
- Participating in the planning, development and implementation of various tax planning initiates in order to maximize the corporation's cash flows and minimize the effective tax rate. This includes working on projects to ensure movement of cash within structure can move in a cash efficient manner.
- Execution of discrete tasks, including income tax compliance and estimated payments.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and preferably working towards CA or CPA
- Experience of 4- 10 yrs in taxation (preferably US, International Taxation)
- Preferred: Experience/interest in international supply chain planning and India tax.
- Preferred: Experience/interest in income tax reporting (ASC 740)
- Required: Financial modeling skills using Excel as well as proficiency with Word and Power Point, ability to manage data with good analytical skills.
- Required: Strong communication skills and ability to document for internal controls and audit. Clear and decisive communication between Bridgewater, Ireland and India team members.
- Work exposer in MNC supporting multiple geographical locations.
- High adaptability to changing business needs and priorities
- Must have ability to work independently, self-initiated multi coordination, and the ability to multi-task.
- Must be organized, detail oriented and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
