Please see below the Job description for the position of “Assistant General Manager”.
Business Growth &
Expansion
• Set up and Lead BOT's COE .
• Build Frameworks for the COE for Process Assessment, Feasibility
and Viability.
• Implement Pilot and then plan for scaling up.
• Provide BOT's as a service to RO
• To Program manage all migrations of business expansion for Org
• To lead the solutioning of the process that will be migrated as a part
of new business within the group
• Support the business development team with process and other
data to substaintiate the methodology
Seamless Business
Transition
• Support the business growth and expansion where required e.g.
Frameworks, earlier splits etc. and once there is agreement with the
business, takeover for the usual Transition path
• Prepare detailed transitions program plan with critical activities
clearly identified to move in scope processes and employees to the
Org as per the defined transition framework
• Prepare robust checklists in line with the Transition Framework for
seeking specific inputs from the business units / zones. Provide
sufficient orientation and training to the transition champions on the
overall transition framework, specific transition program and action
plan, along with the nuances in implementing transition processes.
• Drive execution of the transition plan along with the champions and
lead discussions with stakeholders to strive for seamless
processes/employees movement to the Org. Understand the
nuances of the processes or any tailored processes followed at the
unit / zone along with the reasons.
• Co-ordinate with different stakeholders like the Tower Heads, DH,
HOD,s, HR, Admin, IT, MR to ensure their respective task are aligned
to the overall plan and look for possible bottlenecks and take early
measures to overcome the same.
• Conduct regular governance meet, right communication and
leverage escalation path to ensure the project objectives are met in
a timely manner
• Lead Program management of key transformation and cross
functional projects initiated for Org for achieving the Productivity
and Excellence targets
Quality & Service
Management Excellence
• Implement governance and escalation framework basis the agreed
principle. Enable regular governance call with key stakeholders
internally and with customers to discuss performance dashboards,
highlight anomalies and suggest changes.
Continuous Capability
Improvement (Process,
People and Technology)
• Implement a robust review rhythm for timely assessing transition
activities across various processes.
• Review the instances and causes of deviation from the transition
plan and take necessary corrective and preventive measures to
reduce deviations.
• Review the reasons for positive deviations and check its applicability
in other processes on pilot basis. If successful, make necessary
changes in the transition process in consultation with the BT team
• Identify and propose improvement / innovative practices for
continuously improving transition process capabilities.
Risk Management &
Governance
• Ensure that Org service migration is in line with operating
procedures and best practices.
• Ensure effective implementation of identified risk controls
throughout the transition.
• Maintain accurate records and data pertaining to all transition and
support timely completion of process audits
