Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager – Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) with strong expertise in financial due diligence and transaction execution. The role requires independent handling of large, complex assignments, managing client relationships, and leading teams in delivering high-quality, insight-driven analysis to support M&A transactions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with U.S. clients and a track record of excellence in managing financial due diligence (buy-side, sell-side, carve-outs), financial analysis, and reporting.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead critical engagements, build deep client relationships, mentor teams, and contribute to business development initiatives within a dynamic, global consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Execution & Financial Analysis
Lead buy-side, sell-side, carve-out and other transaction-related engagements.
Perform and review detailed financial statement analysis, KPI analysis, databook creation (Analysis Pack), trial balance mapping, reconciliations, and management-to-audited accounts tie-outs.
Conduct analyses including price-volume, customer concentration, ageing, churn, headcount and trending analysis.
Frame management questions and draft due diligence reports covering business overviews, financial history, and Quality of Earnings adjustments.
Identify key deal issues impacting valuation, purchase price, and deal structure, and communicate them clearly to clients.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
Establish and manage strong client relationships by acting as the primary point of contact on projects.
Understand client business models, industry trends, and sector-specific issues to deliver tailored insights.
Anticipate and identify engagement risks, escalate issues promptly, and proactively develop solutions.
Exceed client expectations by delivering high-quality outputs within budget and timelines.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and counsel engagement teams on financial analysis, KPIs, sector benchmarks, and diligence methodologies.
Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and ensure adherence to quality and risk management procedures.
Drive productivity and efficiency, ensuring deliverables meet defined scope, timelines, and quality standards.
Contribute to learning & development initiatives, delivering training and mentoring junior team members.
Business Development & Practice Building
Support development of marketing collaterals, proposals, and new methodologies for TAS service offerings.
Assist leadership in identifying opportunities for process improvement and best practices.
Participate in internal initiatives, knowledge sharing, and competency-building within the TAS practice.
Strong technical expertise in financial due diligence, financial statements analysis, report writing, and transaction execution.
Proven ability to independently manage large-scale, complex engagements across geographies.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
Strong client relationship management and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with tools like Alteryx, Power Query, Power BI, Tableau is a plus.
High attention to detail, with a solution-oriented and commercially astute mindset.
