Manager (Technocommercial)

Responsibilities

• Store Management
• Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, ensure proper documentation, and conduct regular audits.
• Implement FIFO/LIFO systems and ensure safe handling and storage practices.
• Purchase & Procurement
• Identify and source materials, machinery, and services as per technical specifications and project timelines.
• Evaluate vendor quotations, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Monitor delivery schedules, resolve supply chain issues, and ensure timely availability of resources.
• Techno-Commercial Coordination
• Analyze and compare technical specifications with commercial offers during vendor selection.
• Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and work orders ensuring alignment with project needs.
• Liaise with execution, engineering and finance teams to ensure compliance with budget and technical standards.
• Documentation & Compliance
• Ensure all procurement and store activities comply with project policies, safety norms, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain records for audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
• Support in preparing MIS reports, cost tracking, and vendor performance evaluations.
  

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (Mandatory)

• Preferred fields:
• Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil)
• Supply Chain Management
• Business Administration
• Commerce or Finance
  

Master’s Degree (Desirable)

• MBA or PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, or Finance
  

Certifications (Optional but Valuable)

• SAP MM/SD Module Certification
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• ISO Quality Systems Training
  

Experience:

Additional Skills

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory control, and contract management.
• Experience in techno-commercial evaluations, vendor negotiations, and ERP systems.
