Role Description And Purpose

Responsibilities

• Support the Category lead to response to Customer RFP
• Connect and engage with Internal Stakeholders to support third party cost components needed in completing submission of customer RFP.
• Negotiate with supplier for best cost and other commercial terms and conditions.
• Minimize the potential risks to reduce supply chain uncertainties and shocks, evaluate and check quotes for errors and mistake before they are shared with business.
• Create and develop relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate ongoing collaboration between the Business teams, Operations team, Enablers team and Logistics team.
• Manage day-to-day activities, reporting and compliance, to ensure timely procurement as per business requirements.
• Ensure purchases are executed in a timely manner and in accordance with the company’s policies.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  

• Excellent negotiation skills and stakeholder management
• Mandatory 6-12 years of procurement experience with minimum 6 years’ experience in Telecom industry handling network products ( e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, HPE ) and services including customer premise equipment.
• Experience of working in a presales environment and bid management in telecom or network providers.
• Strong understanding of contract and commercials
• Well organized and self-motivated individual capable of making decisions.
• Understanding of international freight and delivery models. Experience in managing distributors will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work under time pressure and with some amount of ambiguity.
