Description
As a Manager Procurement (Europe) at XBP Global, your role will involve leading procurement activities for European business units. You will be responsible for end-to-end RFP management, strategic sourcing, and vendor relationship management to ensure compliance with European procurement standards and XBP's global policies. Acting as a strategic partner to European business stakeholders, you will support initiatives aimed at enhancing operational excellence and delivering cost savings. **Key Responsibilities:** - **RFP Management (Core Responsibility)** - Lead end-to-end RFP processes for European procurement projects, from requirements gathering to award finalization. - Draft RFP documents, including Scope of Work (SOW), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), evaluation criteria, and pricing templates. - Manage stakeholder alignment to define specifications and evaluation frameworks. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, and IT to ensure compliance and risk mitigation. - Develop bid evaluation models and conduct supplier scoring, ensuring transparency and fairness. - Drive competitive sourcing strategies to achieve best value outcomes. - **Strategic Sourcing & Category Management** - Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key European spend categories such as IT hardware & software, Telecom & network services, Facilities & real estate services, Professional & managed services, and Corporate indirect procurement (travel, marketing, etc.). - Conduct spend analysis to identify cost optimization opportunities and supplier consolidation initiatives. - Build long-term category plans aligned with business objectives. - **Vendor Governance** - Identify, qualify, and onboard strategic suppliers in Europe. - Negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs), contracts, and SLAs to secure favorable commercial and operational terms. - Establish vendor performance scorecards and track supplier performance against KPIs. - Address vendor escalations and implement corrective action plans when required. - **Operational Excellence** - Oversee the PO-to-invoice process ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. - Maintain accurate procurement data in ERP and sourcing platforms. - Champion digital procurement automation tools for process standardization. - Provide regular reports and dashboards to global leadership on procurement metrics. **Required Qualifications:** - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business Administration; MBA preferred. - **Experience:** 8-10 years of progressive procurement experience, with minimum 5 years managing RFPs and strategic sourcing for European markets. - **Domain Knowledge:** Strong understanding of European procurement regulations, GDPR, VAT, and local compliance standards. - **Tools Expertise:** Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics) and e-sourcing/RFP tools (Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer). - **Certifications:** CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent highly preferred. - **Language Skills:** Fluent English required; knowledge of French or German is an advantage.
