Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Attendance:

  • Monitoring the daily attendance of all employees including the out-duty movements.
  • Analyzing causes of absenteeism and finding solutions.
  • Record keeping of attendance and providing to concern HOD as required.
  • Maintaining leave records and updating applicable registers.

Attendance System, Payroll processing, Bonus/ Ex Gratia & Leave Encashment Work:

  • Preparing monthly salary sheet, Bonus/ Ex gratia and leave encashment work.
  • Distribution of salary, Bonus/ Ex Gratia and leave encashment as applicable.
  • Providing department/ section costing and other analysis as required.
  • Maintain salary records, pay roll muster and all other related records.
  • Updating loan registers.

Administration:

  • Monitoring the Housekeeping activities.
  • Ensuring Safety of employees / machines / materials at all times.
  • Reviewing the current safety practices and updating as required.
  • Coordinating the stationery requirements.
  • Guest/ VIP Guest related work.

Recruitment:

  • Review and implement Recruitment process.
  • Man-power planning
  • Preparing job description
  • Individual & Team Goal setting
  • Sourcing of candidates as per requirement
  • Conducting preliminary interviews and then forwarding to concern HOD for interview.

Appraisals:

  • Understanding Employee Development Review process and its core objective and updating it from time to time to meet changing market dynamics.
  • Implementing and conducting EDR (appraisals) quarterly and ensuring that the core objective of employee development and an increase in performance is achieved with increased employee job satisfaction.
  • Annual appraisals & increments, benchmarking salaries and increment.

Training & Development:

  • Preparing the annual training calendar as per the TNI received from the functional HODs.
  • Sourcing faculty / external training programmers as per requirement.
  • Conducting training programs to meet minimum two man-days training for all employees.
  • Evaluation and checking effectiveness of Training.
  • To create and implement Test paper after training Internal as well as External
  • Design training programmers for upgrading general communication skills & etiquettes.

Employee Engagement Activities:

  • Planning and arranging various employee engagement activities to have retained and satisfied employees.
  • Planning and arranging Annual Picnic, regular get together with and without family, celebrating Birthdays and anniversaries, celebrating achievements good performance, etc.
  • Identify scheme for rewarding employee performance, boosting employee morale eg. Employee of the month.

M.I.S.:

  • Design, develop, prepare and implement the M.I.S. to meet other department requirements.
  • Providing timely information to teams preparing M.I.S. and ensuring correctness of data.
