Manager / Seniorl Manager - Legal

1.Legal Advisory & Compliance

·      Provide strategic legal advice to management on all business operations, land acquisitions, and project development.

·      Ensure compliance with RERA, company law, land laws, municipal regulations, and other applicable real estate legislations.

·      Monitor changes in laws/regulations and update management on their impact.

2.Contracts & Documentation

·      Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and MoUs related to land acquisition, joint development agreements (JDAs), sale deeds, lease agreements, construction contracts, and vendor agreements.

·      Ensure accuracy and legal soundness of project-related customer agreements and sales documentation.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

·      Represent the company in all legal proceedings including civil, criminal, consumer, RERA, arbitration, and regulatory matters.

·      Manage external legal counsel, track case progress, and ensure effective closure of disputes.

·      Resolve customer, vendor, and partner disputes through negotiation, arbitration, or litigation as appropriate.

Risk Management & Safeguarding Interests

·      Conduct legal due diligence of lands and properties prior to acquisition or development.

·      Identify potential risks in business transactions and provide risk-mitigation strategies.

·      Safeguard company interests in collaborations, partnerships, and joint ventures.

Leadership & Team Management

·      Lead the legal team and provide guidance, mentoring, and performance monitoring.

·      Coordinate with internal departments (sales, projects, procurement, HR, finance) to address legal queries.

·      Build strong relationships with regulatory bodies, authorities, and external stakeholders.
