Position – Manager/ Senior Manager- Sea Export Pricing Location- East of Kailash , Sant Nagar Contrans Cargo Pvt. Ltd. is a leading international freight forwarding company, located at East of Kailash, Sant Nagar, providing comprehensive logistics, customs clearance and transportation solutions. Position Summary: The Pricing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that enhance the company’s competitiveness and profitability in the freight forwarding market. This role involves analyzing market trends, negotiating with carriers, and collaborating with various departments to ensure optimal pricing solutions. Note: Candidates only from freight forwarding background will be considered, only they should apply. Key Responsibilities: Should have good relations with various NVOCCs and Shipping lines. Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share. Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and industry data to inform pricing decisions. Negotiate rates with carriers and other service providers to secure competitive pricing. Prepare and present pricing proposals and quotations to clients and internal stakeholders. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and adjust as needed. Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and goals. Maintain and update pricing databases and tools to ensure accurate and timely information. Provide training and support to sales teams on pricing policies and procedures. Conduct regular pricing reviews and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the pricing process Qualifications: Any bachelor’s degree / MBA in any field. Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in pricing, in a freight forwarding/logistics/ Supply Chain Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of shipping lines/ NVOCC for rate negotiations Why Join Us: Competitive salary and benefits package.
