1: Job Purpose Statement
To provide strategic leadership in end-to-end supply and production planning, ensuring global network efficiency, cost competitiveness, and service excellence. The role drives data-led decision making, business process standardization, and digital transformation across entities, enabling the organization to deliver consistent customer value, operational agility, and sustainable growth in a dynamic global market. Role ensures timely planning, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing directly to business profitability through cost optimization and enabling faster but informed decision making.

- Supply & Production Planning
- Lead the end-to-end supply and production planning function to ensure optimum balance between customer demand, plant capacity, and inventory norms.
- Drive planning accuracy through continuous monitoring of forecasts, capacity utilization, and adherence to production timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Plant teams to understand how future planned is to be modified to manage or mitigate current gaps and delays in production and supply.
- Supply Chain Analysis
- Conduct in-depth analysis on logistics and supply chain KPIs including load optimization, container utilization, and transporter efficiency.
- Track and monitor L1 freight rates, evaluate transporters performance, and ensure spend optimization.
- Perform variance analysis, budgeting, and costing to support management decisions and improve cost efficiency.
- Build financial and operational dashboards reflecting weighted averages, cost per ton/container, and other key supply chain metrics.
- Project Management
- Manage strategic projects focused on network optimization at country and global levels to improve serviceability and cost structures.
- Manage end-to-end implementation of customer-centric interfaces in collaboration with internal customers and external vendors.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time, within-budget completion.
- Serve as a key liaison for regional and global initiatives aligning with corporate supply chain transformation goals.
- Business Process Improvement
- Identify and streamline critical business processes across supply chain and operations functions.
- Define and implement structured approval workflows and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for audits, ensuring readiness and process transparency.
- Develop and maintain templates, trackers, and data validation systems to eliminate discrepancies and enhance reporting reliability.
- Cross-functional coordination amongst departments and entities to enable data-driven decisions.
- Digitalization & Automation
- Champion digital transformation initiatives across organization functions to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Conceptualize and drive automation of key workflows such as invoice processing, document sharing, and vendor nomination.
- Collaborate with IT and external developers to design digital tools and reverse-bidding systems for improving efficiency.
- Evaluate new technologies and digital platforms for integration into existing business processes.
- Business Intelligence & Strategic Reporting
- Prepare and present high-quality management presentations and strategic reports for CXO-level decision making.
- Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and cost structures to guide business strategy.
- Convert complex data sets into intuitive dashboards, one-pagers, and graphical summaries for leadership communication.
- Develop and track cost strategy models in Excel, providing data-driven insights on pricing, cost reduction, and profitability improvement.
- Provide inputs for negotiations with different types of vendors.

- Successful completion of network redesign projects within timeline and budget

Process Improvement & Governance
- Establishment and compliance with new SOPs, approval workflows, and audit requirements
- Reduction in process deviations and data discrepancies across plants/functions
Digitalization & Automation
- Development and rollout of new digital tools or automation workflows
- Quantifiable reduction in manual interventions or turnaround time
Business Intelligence & Insights
- Timely and accurate submission of management reports, dashboards, and presentations
