As a Quality Leader at Ingersoll Rand Inc., your role involves overseeing and enhancing quality management systems within the manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for leading quality assurance and control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer expectations and enhance product quality. **Responsibilities:** - **Quality Management Systems (QMS):** - Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with ISO standards and industry best practices. - Monitor compliance with internal procedures and external regulations. - Ensure timely closure of audit points with permanent countermeasures. - **Quality Assurance:** - Lead quality assurance initiatives throughout the manufacturing process. - Establish controls in place for prevention and detection. - Conduct layered and process audits with cross-functional teams. - **Team Leadership:** - Supervise and mentor quality assurance team. - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and deploy corrective actions. - Fostering a culture of quality within the organization. - **Continuous Improvements:** - Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions. - Utilize tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and SPC tools to drive improvements. - **Customer Focus:** - Address customer complaints related to product quality. - Work closely with the sales/service team to understand customer needs. - **Training and Development:** - Develop and deliver training programs for quality professionals. - **Supplier Management:** - Work with suppliers for on-site assessment audits. - Review supplier critical processes and establish controls. - **Reporting & Documentation:** - Prepare quality reports and present to senior leadership team. **Skills Required:** - Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment. - Strong knowledge of quality standards and problem-solving. - Excellent analytical, decision-making, and leadership abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Minimum 20 years of experience in quality field.
