Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • 1. Quality Assurance and Control:
  • • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS).
  • • Ensure all products or services meet customer and regulatory standards.
  • • Oversee product testing, inspection, and audits to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • 2. Process Improvement:
  • • Analyze and improve production or service processes to increase efficiency and quality.
  • • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues.
  • • Promote continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • 3. Team Leadership and Development:
  • • Lead and manage a team of quality inspectors, analysts, and auditors.
  • • Provide training on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • • Foster a culture of quality within the organization.
  • 4. Documentation and Reporting:
  • • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on quality metrics, inspections, audits, and improvements.
  • • Ensure proper documentation of quality procedures, policies, and processes.
  • 5. Compliance and Risk Management:
  • • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF, OHSAS, etc.).
  • • Identify and mitigate risks related to product quality and safety.
  • 6. Customer Interaction:
  • • Address and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.
  • • Work with MSIL customers to understand quality expectations and ensure their requirements are met.
  • 7. Collaboration:
  • • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., production, engineering, R&D, supply chain) to ensure quality standards are integrated across all processes.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management, or Manufacturing).
  • • Proven experience as a Quality Manager or in a similar quality-related role.
  • • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards (ISO 9001), IATF, OHSAS (45001) and industry regulations.
  • • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, Six Sigma, FMEA).
  • • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
