Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and creative Automotive Plastic Product Designer with specific experience in injection moulded parts to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the manage the design and development of innovative and high-quality plastic components for a wide range of automotive applications, from concept to production. You will collaborate closely with engineers, manufacturing specialists, collaborate with cross functional teams and other stakeholders to ensure that designs are both aesthetically, functionally meet the quality standards & also ensure manufacturability. Key Responsibilities: Identify the customer needs thorough research and analysis or by direct interactions & deliver the products which will meet the customer requirement & also competitive. Ensure product designs meet customer requirements, industry standards, and manufacturing feasibility. Generate creative and innovative design concepts for automotive plastic components, including interior and exterior trim, functional parts, and advanced plastic solutions. Perform feasibility studies and analyse the manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of design concepts. Understand the plastic part design principles, including material selection, tolerances, and assembly methods. Collaborate with engineers to ensure that designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. Conduct design reviews, DFMEA, risk assessments and present design concepts to internal and external stakeholders. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in automotive design, materials, and manufacturing technologies. Propose improvements in departmental processes or resources according to global developments & propose induction plan to management. Contribute to the development and improvement of design processes and methodologies. Ensure adherence to best practices for product design, mould design, tooling, and processing techniques. Manage multiple product design projects while ensuring timely delivery. Track project milestones and deliverables. Establish and maintain product design standards to ensure high-quality products. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence of company policies by direct reports. Maintain records of KRA deliverables & prepare KRA-KPI report on monthly basis. Qualifications & Technical Skills: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product design, Automotive Design, or a related field. Strong understanding of automotive design principles, including aesthetics, ergonomics, and functionality. Proficiency in 3D modelling software [Unigraphics NX is a must. Strong understanding of plastic materials, mould design, injection mould manufacturing process and injection moulding processes. Experience with DFMEA, DFM, and DFA methodologies. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for automotive design and innovation. Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in automotive plastic product design. Minimum 3+ years working experience in UG NX
Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Development & OEM Outreach Identify and engage with potential OEM and Tier-1 clients (existing and new entrants). Generate qualified leads through direct outreach, industry networking, and trade events. Prepare compelling pitch decks, proposals, and technical presentations tailored to client needs. 2. Sales Strategy & Execution Drive B2B sales cycle lead generation to contract closure. Collaborate with the costing, tooling, and operations teams to finalize quotes and delivery timelines. Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets across molding and mold-making verticals. 3. Account Management & Customer Relationship Develop and manage key OEM and Tier-1 accounts. Act as a bridge between customer R&D/production teams and internal teams for seamless execution. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business. 4. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis Track industry trends in injection molding, plastic component demand, and competitor positioning. Suggest new segments or opportunities (e.g., EV OEMs, 2-wheeler majors, appliance industry). Contribute insights to senior leadership for strategic decisions. 5. Marketing & Branding Support Represent Machino at expos, vendor meets, and industry forums (e.g., Auto Expo, ACMA events). Coordinate with digital marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and content for OEM segments. Prepare case studies and success stories to build Machinos brand in new customer ecosystems. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile/Plastics preferred); MBA in Marketing is a plus. 37 years of experience in B2B Sales & Marketing in plastics, automotive components, or tooling sectors. Proven track record of handling OEM/Tier-1 accounts, preferably with exposure to mold-making or plastic part development cycles. Familiarity with RFQ processes, vendor registration norms, and customer audits. Key Skills: Strong communication and presentation abilities. Ability to understand technical requirements of OEMS and tier-1s. Negotiation and contract management. Able to manage customer relation. Willingness to travel to customer locations, supplier parks, and expos.

Qualification: DME/CIPET/NTTF Experience: 4 to 10 yrs. Should have knowledge of Injection molds. Should have worked in Toolroom as a toolmaker or in planning. Should be able to do machine loading plan.
Supervising all tool-room related activities, preventive and breakdown maintenance of mold ensure safe work practice adhere to daily weekly, schedule for maintenance. Carry out the daily check of molds health monitoring and spare management.
