Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & OEM Outreach

  • Identify and engage with potential OEM and Tier-1 clients (existing and new entrants).
  • Generate qualified leads through direct outreach, industry networking, and trade events.
  • Prepare compelling pitch decks, proposals, and technical presentations tailored to client needs.

2. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Drive B2B sales cycle lead generation to contract closure.
  • Collaborate with the costing, tooling, and operations teams to finalize quotes and delivery timelines.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets across molding and mold-making verticals.

3. Account Management & Customer Relationship

  • Develop and manage key OEM and Tier-1 accounts.
  • Act as a bridge between customer R&D/production teams and internal teams for seamless execution.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.

4. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Track industry trends in injection molding, plastic component demand, and competitor positioning.
  • Suggest new segments or opportunities (e.g., EV OEMs, 2-wheeler majors, appliance industry).
  • Contribute insights to senior leadership for strategic decisions.

5. Marketing & Branding Support

  • Represent Machino at expos, vendor meets, and industry forums (e.g., Auto Expo, ACMA events).
  • Coordinate with digital marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and content for OEM segments.
  • Prepare case studies and success stories to build Machinos brand in new customer ecosystems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile/Plastics preferred); MBA in Marketing is a plus.
  • 37 years of experience in B2B Sales & Marketing in plastics, automotive components, or tooling sectors.
  • Proven track record of handling OEM/Tier-1 accounts, preferably with exposure to mold-making or plastic part development cycles.
  • Familiarity with RFQ processes, vendor registration norms, and customer audits.

Key Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements of OEMS and tier-1s.
  • Negotiation and contract management.
  • Able to manage customer relation.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations, supplier parks, and expos.
