Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Act as Custodian for Clinical protocols at unit level and ensure high standards of patient care
Responsible for Interpreting and implementing quality assurance initiatives as per NABH standards in hospital and to ensure delivery of quality care to patients.
Development of departmental policies and Procedures, as per NABH norms
Ensure compliance to Quality indicator benchmarks and participation in quality initiatives.
Undertake focused audits, mocks surveys, surprise audits to assess state of readiness for accreditation and focusing upon continual improvement.
Work in association with a consistent team to co-ordinate quality initiatives and provide consistency in such initiatives.
Define and implement Performance Parameters for Doctors. Manage them on floors & coordination for monthly/ weekly roster for smooth functioning.
Ensure that proper Standard Operative Procedures are in place for the efficient admission, care & discharge of patients
Set up & ensure the regular functioning of the following clinical committees, in consultation with the facility director / Medical Superintendent
Hospital Infection Control Committee
Academic Council
Pharmacy therapeutic Council
Quality Management Services
Monitor Diagnostic facilities (Radiology, Pathology, Dental, IVF) to ensure service quality levels
Ensure proper upkeep & confidentiality of medical records & patient documentation
Responsible for all medical licenses & statutory requirements
Imparting training to employees regarding the quality protocols as per NABH standards and SOPs and Policies.
Measuring training effectiveness by conducting surprise audits, interviews regarding the quality protocols as per NABH standards.
