Organization: - Jubilant Ingrevia Limited Designation & Level: - Managet-Procurement (L3) Location: - Noida Reporting Manager: - Associate Director Job Summary: PRICE DISCOVERY Establish the system, approach & process to links the material pricing with global material price trends, including alert & monitoring of food, feed, nutrition & Chemical markets trends globally. Collaborate with supporting resources (Suppliers, Business & Sales Team) to achieve target pricing within the given timeframes. Participate in sourcing initiatives to leverage best practices, partner with corporate commodity leaders, sourcing leaders, and peers to maximize synergies with supplier. Identifying and qualifying international suppliers, finalizing long term contracts and negotiate favourable payment terms NEW VENDOR EMPANELMENT Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and procurement process and developing contingency plans to mitigate these risks by diversifying the supplier base, maintaining strategic relationship with suppliers, and establishing alternative sourcing strategies to ensure business continuity. Responsibility to conduct due diligence on suppliers, and ensuring Identify and qualify suppliers capable of meeting the requirements of new product introductions. Conduct assessments to evaluate suppliers' capabilities, quality systems, and capacity through third parties, internal team visits and feedback from Quality Assurance deptt. INNOVATION IN MATERIAL Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with new product development goals, considering factors such as cost, quality, availability, and supplier capabilities. Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to sourcing, supply chain disruptions, and supplier performance that could impact material. REGULAR PROCUREMENT ACTIVITIES Strategic Sourcing & Procurement of material. Inventory Planning & Control - Coordinating and supporting Business team for timely procurement of Raw Material that includes Herbal , Food & feed Nutrition , Speciality Chemicals. Identifying Digital initiatives of Procurement & implementing the same in system. Coordinate cross-functional activities and timelines related to sourcing and procurement to support the successful completion of new projects. Knowledge & Adherence of All Compliance w.r.t Procurement of material.(i.e. Quality Compliance , QA Audits, Regulatory etc.) The Person: Educational Qualifications: B.E. / B. Tech (Chemical) and MBA or PG preferred as additional qualification. Functional Skills: 10+ years of professional experience, preferably within the chemical industry. Proven ability to thrive in a matrix organizational structure, managing cross-functional collaboration effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to influence and build relationships. Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, with a strategic and analytical approach to decision-making. Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting complex data to drive business outcomes.
