Job Description

Job Title

: Manager – Procurement

Scope Of Work

: Responsible for purchasing aircraft spares, buyer-furnished equipment (BFE), tools, consumables, and modification/retrofit materials. Ensures optimum cost, timely delivery, and adherence to reliability standards while driving procurement strategy.

Responsibilities

Source, purchase, and manage assigned categories, including BFE and retrofit items.
Authorize purchase orders within financial limits and seek approvals for higher values.
Monitor overdue orders, backlogs, vendor performance, and KPIs.
Collaborate with contracts and vendor teams for price, lead-time reviews, and disputes.
Oversee invoice clearance and store discrepancy resolution.
Analyze supply chain data, recommend process improvements, and support system enhancements.
Manage team workload, performance, and development.

Educational Qualifications :-

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience :-

6–7 years in procurement/supply chain; 10+ years preferred.
Experience with aircraft spares purchasing or in maintenance/repair/logistics is desirable.
