Our client is into Manufacture of Corrugated boxes manufacturing – Automated Plant.

To lead and manage production planning and control activities in the Automatic Corrugation Plant, ensuring optimum utilization of resources, timely order execution, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Job Requirements

1. Exp –Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience into production and planning function of automated corrugated box manufacturing company.
2. Qualification – Any BE or Diploma or graduate (Fulltime pass out only)
3. Job location – Daman

Mandatory Requirement

1. Experience & knowledge in production planning function of automated corrugation boxes manufacturing’s.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control

• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in alignment with sales orders and delivery schedules.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans to meet changing priorities and urgent requirements.
• Ensure optimum utilization of plant capacity and minimize downtime.

Operations Management

• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams for smooth operations.
• Drive efficiency improvements in corrugation, printing, slotting, and finishing processes.
• Ensure inventory levels of raw material, paper reels, inks, and adhesives are maintained as per production requirements.

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead, guide, and mentor production planning & shop-floor teams.
• Foster collaboration across sales, procurement, logistics, and quality departments for seamless order execution.
• Ensure proper workforce allocation and shift planning.

Process Improvement & Cost Optimization

• Implement lean manufacturing practices, process optimization, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Track KPIs like machine efficiency, productivity, wastage, and downtime.
• Propose and implement cost-effective measures to improve overall plant performance.

Customer & Quality Focus

• Ensure timely order fulfilment with adherence to quality standards.
• Address bottlenecks and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery commitments.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all safety, statutory, and environmental norms are adhered to in plant operations.
• Promote a culture of workplace safety and hygiene

Key Skills

• Strong expertise in production planning & scheduling in Automatic Corrugation Plants
• Knowledge of corrugation machinery, paper grades, and box manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in production planning tools.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with focus on efficiency and cost optimization.
• Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills
