About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Manager to lead and supervise our Point-of-Sale (POS) vertical for Life and General Insurance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a widespread POS network, streamlining operational efficiency, and driving business growth through effective team and channel management.

Key Responsibilities

·        Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the POS distribution channel for both Life and General Insurance.

·        Manage and coordinate with existing POS agents and onboard new partners.

·        Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to IRDAI guidelines across the POS operations.

·        Design and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce turnaround times.

·        Monitor daily performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.

·        Train and guide the POS team to ensure customer satisfaction, policy issuance accuracy, and claims support.

·        Collaborate with underwriters, insurers, and technology support teams to ensure smooth transactions.

·        Resolve operational issues and act as the primary escalation point for the POS network.

·        Drive insurance product awareness and promotional activities across the POS channel.

Candidate Profile

Experience: 5 to 10 years in insurance industry, specifically handling POS operations or agency channels.

Industry Preference: Candidates with experience in both Life Insurance and General Insurance will be prioritized.

Skills Required:

·        Strong leadership and team management skills

·        Knowledge of insurance distribution models and POS regulations

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·        Proficiency in MS Office and insurance CRM tools

Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline. Insurance certifications (e.g., Licentiate, Associate from III) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Prior experience managing a POS network in a similar geographic region.

·        Demonstrated success in increasing business volumes and operational efficiencies in previous roles.

Posting Location

Indore – Candidates must be open to working from the company’s Indore office and traveling to nearby districts if required.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
