Job Description

Job Title: Manager Planning & Budget

Experience: 10+ Years

Location: Chennai

Role Overview:

The Manager Planning & Budget will be responsible for end-to-end project costing, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control for MSB, Plot Development, and Commercial projects. The role ensures financial accuracy, efficient resource allocation, and alignment between planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Costing & Budgeting.
Preparation of a
Zero cost report.
Prepare detailed project budgets and track Budget vs Actual costs monthly.
Conduct rate analysis,
BOQ preparation
, and material reconciliation.
Monitor project costs, implement
value engineering
, and
prepare cash flow reports.
Planning & Scheduling.
Develop and manage
project schedules
(Master, Micro, and Macro levels).
Track daily progress, prepare
MIS reports
, and forecast material requirements.
Billing & Contracts.
Prepare running bills, contractor bills, and non-tendered item analyses.
Verify statutory documents and manage vendor negotiations, finalizations, and order releases.

Key Skills:

Good knowledge in
rate analysis
for all items of works related to MSB residential, Plot Development and Commercial projects.
Preparing detailed CTC reports for large scale
MSB Projects
, Plot Development and Commercial Projects.
Preparing
BOQ and BBS
based on
GFC drawings.
Preparing all types of Construction Material reconciliation reports.
Preparing
Master Schedule
and Tracking the progress.
Value Engineering.
Good presentation and communication skill.
