Manager - Legal

Role Overview: You will be responsible for handling the legal requirements of the international business, Project Sales, and Services Vertical of the company. Your role will involve providing commercially relevant, practical, and proactive legal services. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, negotiate, and close agreements, warranty documents, and minimize associated risks for the Company. - Handle tender-related documents, prepare risk notes for management discussions, and participate in negotiations of key business contracts. - Manage end-to-end legal aspects of assigned business transactions. - Prepare Agreement MIS at regular intervals, track renewals and major triggers, and ensure proper execution and storage of original agreements. - Work on the Contract Management Portal for efficient contract management. - Ensure 100% compliance for new businesses and streamline legal processes as per APL standards. - Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for new businesses in the areas of IPR, Agreement, Litigation, and Property matters. - Conduct research on various country laws applicable to the business and find appropriate judgments for better interpretation of contractual understanding. - Provide training to internal teams on standard operating procedures for business agreements. - Offer sound legal advice to different business verticals on various legal matters and act as a Legal SPOC with external consultants, lawyers, and internal stakeholders. - Advise international business units on agreement review, IPR, and recovery of outstanding debts, while coordinating with foreign law firms on legal compliance requirements. Qualifications Required: - LLB/LLM full-time from a recognized university. - Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in Contract Management.,
