Job Description

Overall responsibility of monitoring and reporting HSE performance across the marketing organisation. Provide support to the Head HSE to meet the HSE objectives and targets for the year.

Responsibilities

Accountabilities

Activities
  • Collect, collate and analyse HSE performance data on a weekly & monthly basis.

Authority:

Collect data form each department

  • Collect all the data from respective departments
  • Record other HSE data generated from time to time
  • Submit accurate and timely MIS reports to the management
  • Provide analysis of data as and when required for to take strategic decision.
  • Prepared reports for external reporting as pre act and rules
  • Organise HSE campaigns for multiple stakeholders through the year
  • Plan the campaign at HO, zonal / divisional offices, Depots and RO’s
  • Organise innovative activities around the campaign theme to increase awareness and participation
  • Monitor the participation numbers
  • Share the campaign outcome with the management
  • Training & communication
  • Prepare e-learning modules for the marketing employees on HSE topics as per business requirement.
  • Organise training through external training providers as per business requirement.
  • Learnings from incidents
  • Analyse the incidents reported on the portal on a periodic basis
  • Share the learnings with a wider audience at Depots / zones with recommendations including near misses on a periodic basis
  • Prepare monthly safety timeouts to be conducted at zones / depots.
  • Accident investigation
  • Ensure investigation of all incidents is completed on a timely basis as per the extant protocol.
  • Review the investigation reports submitted for completion of information.
  • Participate in investigations as and when nominated by the Head HSE
  • Audit
  • Participate in IMS internal audit and any HSE audits conducted by internal / external parties
  • Conduct HSE internal audit of Depots / RO’s from time to time.
  • Other
  • Manage procurement of services as per the company protocol for training, etc.
  • Coordinate with all the relevant business functions for meeting the project / activity timelines.
  • Coordinate with external parties for efficient and timely delivery of services.
  • Systems, Policies & Procedures
  • Develop department management procedures / guidelines as per business need from time to time
  • Suggest revision to the existing HSE policies / procedures from time to time to ensure these meet the business requirements

Qualifications

BE, Degree/Diploma in industrial Safety from an accredited institute
