Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for leading HR Operations across India and overseas locations, covering the entire employee life cycle, performance management, compensation & benefits, total rewards, internal mobility, compliance and audits, HR policy implementation, HRIS ownership, and cost management for personnel and contract labour.
Role & responsibilities
1. Performance Management & Rewards
- Manage the end-to-end Performance Management System (PMS) cycle including goal setting, mid-year and annual appraisals, moderation of ratings, and communication with stakeholders.
- Lead the Annual Compensation & Rewards process to strategically recognize and retain top and critical talent through fair and impactful reward practices
- Oversee monthly/quarterly reward & recognition programs for HO & units including and not limited to exceptional performance & long service awards.
- Managing incentive processing, pay-out calculations, and communication to stakeholders
2. HR Operations & Employee Life Cycle Management
- Oversee the entire employee life cycle through onboarding, role changes, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Act as the central coordinator with the payroll agency across levels, apprentices, and contract labour ensuring accurate attendance, payroll, compliance, and performance tracking.
- Administer annual leave encashment and maintain updated employee records across locations.
- Oversee Head Office (HO) administrative functions as HRBP, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
3. Benefits, Policy & Cost Administration
- Manage employee benefit & allowance programs such as insurance schemes, car lease policy, health check-ups etc.
- Monitor and control personnel and contract labour costs, including overtime, benefits, and related workforce expenses, aligning with business budgets and financial goals.
4. Global Mobility & International HR Support
- Manage secondments and deputations across locations and business units, including documentation, approvals, and policy compliance
- Support internal mobility processes and maintain consistency in employee operational practices
- Provide HR operational support to all locations including Egypt etc. ensuring alignment with global standards and local compliance
5. Budgeting, Compliance & Statutory Governance
- Lead preparation and monitoring of departmental budgets, workforce planning, and variance tracking to ensure fiscal discipline.
- Interface with internal audits and ensure compliance with employee-related statutory norms (Head Office & Units).
- Prepare and maintain HR-related data for BRSR (Business Responsibility & Sustainability Report), board and contract labour & apprentice-related records.
- Ensure robust recordkeeping, document control, and audit-readiness across all HR operations.
6. Digital HR Transformation & Analytics
- Drive implementation of HRIS system across AMESA to streamline HR operations and enable digital transformation.
- Build HR dashboards, analyse key metrics, derive insights to make informed decision making and communicate outcomes through business review decks and AMESA headcount reports
- Leverage data insights to drive decision-making and engage effectively with Unit HR teams, Business Heads, and stakeholders.
Relevant Experience / Proficiency
- 710 years of experience in HR; should have independently handled 23 full cycles of key Human Capital (HC) processes mentioned in the role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
