Job Description

Development and Review of Annual HR Strategy, Operating Plan and Policies . Obtain approvals on new HR policies, initiatives and programs to be rolled out from Senior Management. Plan the HR & Admin function, including Structure, Roles, Manning, Cost/Performance, and Budgets for the HR Department. Strategizes Talent Acquisition and Talent Management: Ensure that manpower planning exercise is in line with the business goals and annual operating plan of the organization. Conceptualize and ensure implementation of recruitment strategy, to launch new initiatives to help in quick and cost effective sourcing. Manage manpower cost vis a vis profitability of the organization, ensure most competitive resources are attracted in the budgeted cost. Drive new hire integration, learning, skill, career development programs for the organization. Performance Management System Prepare Individual KPAS and KPIs for the year for all employees. Ensure effective assessment of Performance of Employees Employee Retention and Attrition Management: Design proactive retention strategies to ensure attrition for top talent is at the minimum. Industrial Relations Management: Respond to and resolve difficult and sensitive employee inquiries and complaints. To foster a conducive working environment through employee relations activities and communication. To conduct formal/informal grievance interviews with required departments/staffs Dealing with Union Members Wage Settlements Handling of IR & Legal issues. Ensuring compliance of the local labour laws / regulations -liaising with Factory Inspector, Pollution department, police/MIDC/security agencies/etc. Ensuring the renewal of All Licenses with respect to factories act & Submission of Monthly / quarterly/Half yearly & yearly return on time. Payroll and Attendance Administration Ensure payroll administration and to make all necessary co-ordination to make a smooth and efficient operation. Ensure attendance input of all company and contract employees into system to support payroll and legal requirement. Training & Development Ensure Training Need Calendar to be aligned with Performance Appraisal, Plant HOD requirements To organise and conduct Training as per Calendar. To utilised various tools for the measurement of Training. Statutory Compliance & HR Audit Obtain, maintain, renewal, Submission of challans, Certificate, Licensce as per state Government Act. Monitor timely update of personnel records (personal details, position, salary, leave records). Corporate Social Responsibility Identify the scope of CSR and prepare Budget. Ensure utilization of funds as per Annual Plan of CSR. Design and develop a communication mechanism which would enable the organization to articulate its social activities. General Administration Effective management of the Administrative function as per set guidelines. Prepare Administration Budget, roles and responsibilities of the Admin team. Administration of Safety, Security, Transport, Housekeeping, Hygiene and Environment Management, and supervising of other basic facilities in the organization.
